Thanks Zitch. This one is just a regular Euro non-LX but with the solid maple wings on it.

Haha, Lee. I just never know what you guys mean but low end mids and high end growl and scooped and punch and ping. I am just terrible with it, LOL.

In case anyone is curious what this thing sounds like, I have to say, I am really impressed. I think this OBP-1 is going to stay for the time being since I really like the tone so far. Here is a quick clip with the Limaguy riff with everything set flat:

Sounds awesome!!

I'm curious what you'll think of the P/J config with the OBP-1. I had a Euro5 with the OBP-1, and it was 100% low end. I was not thrilled with the lack of range with the DC40s and that OBP.
I have a feeling you'll prefer the TPTP to the OBP-1, but that's just me.

Grendle's Greenie is a strong contender for the "Best looking Euro bass - Ever!" award.

Hello everyone, I have a 1987 Spector NS-2A and I will post a picture once I get off work. I see that I might need a number to join in?

Bahama Blue is a perfect color name for that.. Even amidst the snow, it still reminds you of a warm beach. Even the fingerboard looks like sand!

I was hoping that the mail had ran this eve before I left for work so I could jam it on the way, but no luck.

Ice: pics look great.

This Niki's demo video makes me want ReBopMM. If it really sounds as it does here I'll be all over it. Nice slapper. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blkrjAa4kvI

Hey first one to notice it!

How could I not mention the club here that has hooked me up with so much info, gear and the opportunity to be affiliated with Spector?

FWIW, my PJ equiped Euro4 (see avatar) originally came with the OPB-1. It was very clear, but I found it too....."clean" for lack of a better word.

I've since found my TPTP to be a better fit overall.
