I'm back. The flu is pretty much out of my system. Took nearly 14 days.
A couple of things... that missing USA NS-4 that was stolen still hasn't showed up on the grid. And several people have been keeping their eyes peeled looking for it.
I have a ton of killer NAMM bass photos that once I get a few things on the website caught up I'll be making public.
The Buckeye Burl Coda Deluxe models were awesome as were all of the NS-2s there. Heck, all the basses there this year really represented so well.
Plenty of great NAMM video performances from Quintin Berry and Doug Wimbish to come as well.
And because I was at NAMM and then sick, did anyone notice and therefore discuss that the Euro4LX Limited Edition model's silver bridge has intonation screws?
Got some great photos of things like that I'll make available soon!
I turned my living room into a Spector Shrine for a day.

I turned my living room into a Spector Shrine for a day. | I did notice the intonation screws & just figured it was a Euro bridge that had the retrofit done. The silver fit so well with it that I didn't notice that it wasn't gold. lol
There's one on eBay right now.
Also, you have too many Spectors for that house! Send me a few & I'll keep them stored safe here.

Glad your feeling better JPSBassist, a lot of people have been sick with the flu this year and I hope my shot keeps me out of danger.
Can I ask, how did the USA NS-4 get stolen? was it at the show, or did it happen during shipment?

^ I saw this at Bass Northwest the other day. They have number 10 of 30. On their website it says it has a Tone Pump, but I thought I read on the Spector site that it comes with the USA 9v? The silver trim does look pretty sharp.
Glad you're finally back on your feet again, Patrick

It was stolen from a dealer (music store) a while back. Somebody bought a USA NS4, then returned it a couple of days later and got their money back. However, in the case they brought back, was a similar looking Euro. When the dealer noticed, it was to late.I don't remember what it looked like so I don't know what to look for.
NBD for me. Unfortunately not a spector.

(I think I spot the one 'minor' blemish near the bottom edge.) I decided I could probably live with the gold hardware, but when I went back a 2nd time, it was gone. Good luck with it! I'll probably be kicking myself for the one that got away.
I was wondering if/when it would show up on TB! Quote:

Was thinking of custom euro ordering but if I can get a nice USA and avoided a huge customs few on the bass (which was what stopped me from grabbing that green Euro 5lx) then I might as well pick one up instead. |

As far as the "stolen ns-4" goes, I sent you a PM about it asking some questions a few weeks back, but between NAMM prep and your bout with the FLU, maybe you missed it. We (several club members)were wondering if you could tell us color and serial number? That way we have a clue and dont get possibly screwed out of our money?
Looking forward to the NAMM videos you will be posting!

BUT, it's missing things I wanted.
No Euro bridge with intonation screws (although the 4st pic has them??)
No gold Legend bridge, either. I may be wrong, but it seems the Legend bridges are listed as Professional Series, too.
AND the Tonepump description lists it as Boost Only Quote: |
