I'd be down with that. Dots with a logo inlay at the 12th, along with the USA 9-volt. Not exactly "budget", but considerably less than a full-blown NS-2.
I love the clean look of no fret board inlay, but even after 30 years of playing, I still like front markers when venturing past the 12th fret.

And yes, I know there's no money up there...

Question: What happens to the "floor models" from the NAMM show that didn't sell?
Did Todd take possession of them all?

I may be interested in one of the BEM board NS-2s, if any remain after the show.

I don't think that'll happen... I saw "sold" signs on all the NS-2's by Saturday.

Subject change: I just had the frets beveled and dressed on my Legend... Wow! Can you say 'buttah, babee'??? Looking forward to bringing it out to rehearsal tonight!!!

Todd did get some of them. Most of the "SOLD" signs just mean that a retailer has bought them for stock. Otherwise you could always send PJ and email and ask what went where... I'm sure he would love to point you in the right direction.

You sure that it it? Believe me, I hope it is but that bass was at NAMM 2012 and this video is dated January 2012 so I am not sure if he got a chance to use it by that point. Hey, I hope I am wrong though

I see the video as being done in July 2012. Here is an interview he did http://www.bassfrontiersmag.com/inte...th-colin-edwin
He talks about his gear down towards the bottom.

Nicest six-string Spector bass I've ever seen.
Love the subtle hints of blue in the black stain.
Sublime... Simply sublime...

All the NAMM pix I've seen look like a great time. So many beautiful Spectors together are really bringing out the SAS in people!

I've got a question regarding using thicker gauge strings on my Forte-4x. I'm particularly interested in beefing up the G if nothing else, but preferably all of them. Thicker just feels better under my fingers. Is the brass nut able to accommodate them without any filing? It doesn't look like there's any room to spare around there. The bridge saddles aren't an issue, correct??

Thanks for any info
