Yes the EMG is a slight more wide open while the Aguilar has that slight (bass/thick/muddy) whatever way we want to call it. This is actualy going to come down my current cabs that I have been using...one small travel Hartke Kickback12 and Bergantino Ht12's....I have mostly always played through 10's these produce a slightly different sound. While the 10's have great punch they can make that added bass/muddy input sound great. Actually I would add more 10's for added low end. These 12's have this like added low end (muddy) to them already even with just one 12'' speaker......So basically I am leaning toward the EMG's. These 12''speakers have that low end that you almost can't get out but can add very easily....but if I had a 10 speaker setup I would probably go with the Aguilar......Very Political Answer...haha

With my Forte that I think I am going to keep around a little longer. Thought about selling it, then changed the stock OBP-2 to 18v. Someone might have to pry this out of my hands now

I have to say, now that I have had a taste of a US Spector, Forte's have made it to #1 on my (realistic) SAS list. Something super sexy about the no frills, all tone. Like a hot girl wearing all white cottons. LOL
