Bummed, got news that my Spector Forte 4-X got delayed a couple days in shipping. Guess I have to wait until next week to show "in hand" pics.

I'm also re-posting this question so it doesn't get lost in the transition to a new thread:

Quote:
I know that I floated this idea some pages back but has anyone actually ever seen a fretless Forte in the wild? I was perusing the Spector site before, and noticed that you can actually order one in either lined or unlined. Hmmm...that knowledge gives me much to ponder today (instead of working).

The Euro 4LX is at the tech's getting the Aguilar PJ pickups and OBP-2 pre installed. Once done, Andy's old "faux forte" 435 is going to the tech for the fingerboard edges to get rounded, new strings and a yet undetermined preamp. My natural 435 is getting an EMG pre.

I recently had the same thought. And then wondered, "What's the point?" on a Spector? Won't that soften the tone?

No love for #800

I always loved the really light color Pau Ferro.
I finally got it with #630. All the previous Pau Ferro boards I owned were either medium or dark.
I had the drool effect when I opened that case for the first time.

^ perfectly understandable Sam. All 3 of those beauties are drool-inducing!

Oh, and in. I need to find a better way to post pics from my phone since I rarely have much time on a desktop...
