Spector refinish

Hi Guys and Gals,

I thought I'd show you a restoration project done by a guitar repair person who is a friend of mine.

The person in the picture is my cousin, a very good bass player who had this 1980 black spector USA. Apparently the black finish started coming off and he took it to my friend, the repair guy to get it sorted.

They decided to take the paint off and have it in natural instead. My cousin was really pleased with the results.

Actually, that Warwick kinda has a Spector vibe to it.

The Warwick Streamer is a copy (licensed) of the Spector NS design, not vice-versa.

Do you know how they removed the finish (sanded, heat gunned, etc.)?
