Splatter Painted Basses?

I've seen a lot of cool finishes on TB but never a splatter painted bass.

This gets me thinking, do any of you have splatter painted basses? If so show some pics!

Spin art was really cool in the 80's. Since then, eh...

Vince Klortho 03-20-2013 11:58 PM

Since then it is still cool. People have posted tutorials on YouTube about it less than a year ago.

If you say so, bro ;)

Eh, I shouldn't poop on the guy's dream. It's fine...just I always associate it with new wave bands of the mid 80's.

There was a guy here in Seattle on craigslist selling a swirl painted fender p bass a while back; if I see it again I'll post a link; he had all kinds of stuff... I think he said it was original? Did they (Fender) ever do any paint jobs like that???

These are pretty sweet, I really like the Jackson Pollock style bass

Do these include an iroc, member's only jacket and a pair of MC Hammer pants?

Sorry, getting flashbacks of neon lime green attire here...
