Is it just me, or is the pickup off-center from the neck & strings??

Both PU's together sound like a Split Coil P-bass on steroids!! Quote:

I asked Larry for the most optimum pickup to get for my P-bass, the Model One or the Will Power and he said the WP was made to fit long-scale basses better... lucky I didn't buy the Model One right away JosephGallagher 2 months ago
Larry, which pickup do you recommend better for a 34" scale p-bass? The Model One or the Will Power (Neck)?
LarryDiMarzio 2 months ago
The Will Power, primarily based on the polepiece spacing.

| | Registered User | | | | | I have the 50s and 60s CV. The 50s is pretty amazing--I was thinking about ditching it while culling the herd, but couldn't--it just sounds too great, and quite versatile. So I popped an etched pinup neck plate on it (Blondie) and put it back in its rightful place alongside MIA Fender basses that cost four times as much but don't sound half as good. The 60s is perennial favorite with my son and his pals.and I totally dig the fast JB width neck. It rocks on the A and D strings. It's staying.

Sorry mine is most definitely NOT for sale. This is my band mates favorite bass, more so than my '79 or '06 Fender P basses. |
