I have 2 heavily modified 5ers. These are my regular gigging weapons. For the money they are awesome - of course after mods you are up there in pricewith other basses. But, they still feel and play better than basses 2-3x the price.
Here is the 5 string thread and pics of mine.

Very nice. I dig your blackened j-v. What pups on the white one? You routed the cavities?

absolutely love this bass, i actually had a Fender DAJBV when i got the Squier years ago & the Squier outpreformed it in every way, the Fender was sold off. a couple years back i picked up a Roscoe, played it for a while, but it still didn't " feel " as good as the Squier,, it also went bye bye

would like to get a 4banger in white but it's prolly not offered in that color

And if so is it a 3 colour or a two colour?
Here is my V. Definitely a 3ts, never seen a IV.

I'm jonesin' for one of these.

It's a toss up between this guy and one of the 6 string SX jazzes that they're offering now. I'm not sure if I want the active pre but the flexibility may be worth the extra money.

Hmm...

I'm interested in getting one too, the 5er has a large neck..I'm leaning toward the 4. I'd probably swap out that neck for a maple/maple.. Add a pickgaurd, that'll sure be retro.
