Squier II?

Squier II Korean made...There is one listed very Cheap ($80.00) on Craigslist in my area...





OK you guys in the know what is the scoop? Decent quality? plywood?

Based on the S designation and the serial number 91 P Bass made by Samick?

That's what I learned to play onn twenty years ago. Meh. For that price it'd be okay, but not the best thing Squier's ever done. I'm not the best one to describe the sound since it's been so long, but I had neck stability issues, crappy fret job, etc. Make sure you can inspect it.

The necks are a nice chunk of solid maple with a heavy gloss, the necks are raved about. The bodies are just plywood. I kept the neck on one and put it on a nice body and sold the original body off, I have a 100% original squier II stratocaster.

Yep, lots of love for the necks and the body is plywood.
