Squier Jazz or Squier Jag?

I'm looking into getting a lighter gig worthy bass and I'm stuck between these two basses. I like thicker necks, and Jazz pickups with some growl. The Squier Jazz sounds great but the Jag might have more of a tone that I like with a Jazz and a P bass pickup. Which one should I choose?

Both are decent basses for the price, but only you can decide which one you'd like better. Nobody can tell you what you will like. You need to find them both to play and try out.
