I saw a squier ll made in India p-Bass today, so what's the story on them? Anything valuable about them? It looked good to be so old and dusty. How were the pick ups and electronics? Nothing in the store to try it out plugged in.
I only ever played an Indian Squier once.
It was really heavy and sounded great. Sounded like my old '76 P bass.
I was told( I could be wrong) that the electronics & hardware were not made in India and they used leftover Japanese parts. Don't know if that's true or not. I'm also told they were made from Cedar wood but don't quote me on that either. The one I played was a white P. I was going to buy it but waited a day and it was sold. They aren't common
As far as value goes I've seen people trying to get $ 295 for them.
They have a slighted collectable mojo then the average Squier but that's a high price. The one I played two years ago the store wanted $99.95. I wouldn't pay too high a price.
