Squier modified 77' jazz bass pickguard

I have a black 77 squier jazz, do they take the same pickguards as fender standards?

to make a cheep version of Geddies bass changed the knobs & bridge.
but the pick guard I had to re aline three holes it was fine I thought it was a good fit. four months later I put all the original parts back on and sold it.
