Those couple hundred would probably be of better use if you get a Vintage Modified Squier or something

My question is, why not leave the pots in, just bypass them. Maybe you like the electrical
tape

Just curious.

Plans to install a guard with no holes perhaps? There are a few guys on here that have basses with no knobs... Always an interesting look... As well as a great conversation starter!

Here is my Jaguar SS. Although it has some quirks and may not be someone's idea of a luxury bass, it is my first bass. I will never get rid of it, even though my SR750 seems better in every respect.

It is my first, it taught me how to play. Enough said.

Please pardon the crap picture. Only have a cell camera, so I make due.

Number please?

It's been a joy to play. In spite of the arrival of the SR750, I play the Jag about 1/3 of the time. But man is the transition weird sometimes.

I'm actually thinking of replacing the pickups and the pots. It's mechanically sound so why not take it to the next level.

Between upgrading the products in either bass, I suffer from supreme pickup and preamp GAS. And why not take the Jag active. It never ends.

Whoa I went on way to long. After dinner?

I also have a 1996 MIK Jazz in sunburst, but no pics to hand.

And a 1996 MIK Telecaster and Strat, but I guess they don't count

Nice! How do you find the build quality of the VM Fretless?

Considering one for myself.

Does anyone have a five string Affinity Jazz? I'm looking into getting a budget five string, and I own a few Squiers but the only Affinity I've played was a friend's P Bass and I hated it. I was just wondering what the five string Jazz is like in terms of how solid it is in tuning terms, and how good the pups are, especially re noise etc.
