sr250 or Shecter custom 4

I went to gc, messed with these two basses, they both had an amazing set up but the slap tone was amazing on the sr 250
is a shecter custom 4 for 299 used way to good to pass up? its new basically, i cant buy it till the 17th due to police hold, but i can put down 70 dollars to gurantee it. Im gonna be using these basses for drop tuning. which one would you recommend?

Ibanez SR250

I don't know why: it's just a 34" scale whereas same 34" on the SRX doesn't mean tight string tension, but on Soundgears (just like SR250) downtuning is always safe. Just pay attention to eventual Elixir strings: they grant long duration by being lowtension, so they don't necessarily work good with downtuning, but if find d'Addario or Ernie Ball already on it, you'll be fine and feel comfortable by the start.

Go on with Ibanez buddy

Cheers,
Wallace
