This is how I voted too. Probably second would be black/maple. I've never been a fan of the current LPB, or the MIM sunburst. And red basses generally turn me off. So that doesn't leave much choice. I wish they'd do limited runs more often with oddball colors.

Black and maple or CAR and maple followed by 3TS and maple.

I concur. It's a great combo for my sense of color, especially if it's rounded out with some DR Black Beauties. I once had beater bass done up like that.

However, my absolute favorite, which wasn't on the poll list, is my P-Bass Special's satin pewter (basically, a dark gunmetal grey) with an all-black pickguard, rosewood fretboard and matching headstock.

A close third would have to be customized. It would be similar to my P-Bass Special, but with an Arctic White body/headstock, black pickguard (very glossy) and an ebony fretboard with no inlays, just frets and side-dots.

Hmmm…I just might be on to something here.

I found the red MIM's to look pretty cool. Ive got one with a mirror pickguard, its pretty flashy

I agree though, LPB doesnt really do it for me, the sunburst is a 2t burst i think so it really falls flat compared to the 3t burst. Dislike black because fingerprints show up so easily.

I vote for arctic white and rosewood. My vote would be sunburst and rosewood if it was the American Standard, though. I personally am not fond of the two-tone sunburst on the MIMs.

I like the LPB and maple just because its a classic color that for some unknown reason, FMIC doesnt offer in the USA models. Shame on FMIC.

Sunburst is ugly. Natural and maple is the best! It's pity that guys with big hats don't have such choice.

No big surprise that sunburst is most popular (so far), many consider it as THE classic Precision look, especially with a tort pickguard. My vote went to sunburst/rosewood, but I really love the black/maple too, the next one I get will probably be black/black/maple, which is another classic look.

Sunburst with tort is my least favorite...

I prefer white or natural with tort.

Black and Maple is always a good look on any bass.

I voted lpb+maple, but my all time favorite was a customized p that was blue-burst, black pg, all black hardware, emg's, matching headstock with a rosewood board and traps. B-e-a-utiful!
