I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

However, my absolute favorite, which wasn't on the poll list, is my P-Bass Special's satin pewter (basically, a dark gunmetal grey) with an all-black pickguard, rosewood fretboard and matching headstock.
A close third would have to be customized. It would be similar to my P-Bass Special, but with an Arctic White body/headstock, black pickguard (very glossy) and an ebony fretboard with no inlays, just frets and side-dots.
Hmmm…I just might be on to something here.

I agree though, LPB doesnt really do it for me, the sunburst is a 2t burst i think so it really falls flat compared to the 3t burst. Dislike black because fingerprints show up so easily. |

My vote went to sunburst/rosewood, but I really love the black/maple too, the next one I get will probably be black/black/maple, which is another classic look.

I prefer white or natural with tort.
Black and Maple is always a good look on any bass.
