Starting a Doubleneck project. Advice?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I've got a 15 dollar garage sale bass (CMI brand Korean made I think), and a guitar body. I already know how to combine the bodies. What do I do about routing, though? My drummer has offered to route it for me, but I want to know how to route it. Also, should I get a right handed reverse neck/lefty neck with righty nut for the guitar (bottom) half? They are both fender style headstocks. Or will it be fine? Advice for a new double-necker?

I have no advice, but I am curious to see how this turns out.

Can't help with the routing question, but one thing I've seen is putting like a 10 degree angle between the necks so that you can get to the upper registers of the upper neck easier.
