Unfortunately, my brother is the one who lives in Fort Worth, so whenever I need something that I cannot get here in Mexico, I have it sent to him and then he brings it down coz he comes back home 3 o 4 times a year... but thanks anyway! Level 42 is playing 9 miles away from here tonight, that might be my only chance to listen to a status in real life! |

Oh S$%*T I'm going to get it here...Well I am in Love with Status basses but it is a unique sound and response being graphite....Just happen to love it, I have had more basses than I can remember through the years, hah!, I used to buys 70's Jazz basses for $350-400 bucks a pop....(Wished I had them now i could retire!) Anyway like Alembics, Status are a special breed (I have a Series one 5-string that I had Mica make me at Alembic and nothing else sounds like an Alembic), that being said there are now so many great choices in "Boutique" basses, one is not enough! I say sell the house and the car and go buy more basses! |

I own a Mark King Signature Series Status bass. 4 string headless with neck thru graphite neck. Its a killer bass and one I like to play when my peers are around. Its a great bass to hold and the EQ can twist me from low end blues, to middle of the road Jazz and up to some killer slaps.

| | | I own a Status Energy Artist 6 string. Never owned a Dingwall, but have played them before. Based on my experience, I would go for the Dingwall. Super P, specifically.
