No but I want to! It's such a cool bass and I'm in love with Status Graphite.

Visit the Status message board "Statii." There are a ton of pictures. Also here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=25170&st=700

Yes, I owned one of the first and have another on order. The original is exactly as you see in the pic on the Status website. It had the traditional 34/19 specs with white LED's.
The Streamline has been recently slightly modified, so I ordered another which is still in production. It's white with 32/16.5 spacing, bendwell and soft blue LED's.
This will make the 8th Status bass I've owned and the 4th in a row with the 32/16.5 specs.
I'm in love with all my Statii, but I have a special fondness for the Streamline. I could spend a paragraph or 2 extolling it's attributes, but it simply must be played and heard to be truly appreciated. A truly incredible instrument that I cannot say enough good things about.

Any pics of those Statii?

I'm currently gassing for a Streamline 5 and a TC Electronics rig to fit in a Mini Clubman! Fed up humping my gear around and thinking I should go 'lite'.

Hey folks - I bumped this thread because I'm ready to purchase a Status Streamline fretted 4-string in the natural graphite finish, with chrome hardware and red wrap-around LED fingerboard markers, and I would like to hear opinions from owners of these basses who have run them through their paces, and have had the chance to gig and record with them. Thanks!

Another Mini owner here...

I've got a Mini Cooper S. I had a TC Electronic rig. The RS210's fit nicely. What I have ended up with back in December is a Bergantino AE212. Fits perfectly with one back seat folded down. I also ended up buying (too good of a deal to pass up sort of thing) a used Bergantino EX112 which fits behind the backseat without folding either seat down!

And to keep with the theme of the thread I'd love to have a Streamline. I did own a Kingbass very briefly last year and I did not love the ergonomics of it which I attribute to the fact that it was designed for its namesakes playing and position style. It was simply gorgeous in every other way though. I would have kept it on those merits if I could have afforded to.

scowboy, the Mini owner post was from 2009 - doubtful he will chime in here.

Still wanting to hear opinions from Status Streamline owners. Thanks!

Streamlines...........Light, focused, balanced a joy to play.
Comparing it to my Kingbass, Stealth II or Wilkat custom, I'd say that it has every tonal option that fullsize basses do, while being in a condensed package. The graphite gives such great clarity without the sterility of the old Steinbergers. Rob has done his homework on the consistancy of graphite he uses to obtain a good balance of tones, and he also designs and builds his own pickups, so that they fit his instruments intentions of sound. The balance of the instrument is perfect, no neck dive at any strap setting.
A good complete package.
Only draw back "some people" find, is the small body esthetic?.?
and the headless design.
I myself find both things a positive. More people are driven to ask me about my instrument and tones, just because its not the same old thing they normally see. I love the tuning stability of the headless design, and the graphite!!! STABIL.
The oddest quote I hear frequently is- My hand falls off the end?!?!?! REALLY? I'm playing the fret board not the head stock, my left hand consentration has never been that bad.
I love the Streamline, I don't think you can lose with it.
But, I also drive a Smart car and have to make room for my Berg NV610

Thanks, David -I've been waiting for an actual Streamline owner to chime in here & give an honest assesment. The look, the headless /small package, and graphite high-end design all appeal to me, even though it's very different from the Rickenbackers I normally play. The only issue is price - for $3k, I could buy two more Ric 4003 basses...

I get more folks coming up to me with compliments and questions when I play one of my Rickenbackers than other basses I have.

I had thought about getting a Streamline at one time, nice looking basses.

I've owned 3 Streamlines, still own 2 and regret selling my first.
I'm a high end and/or rare headless bass collector but quit when I bought my first Streamline. I simply lost interest in anything else. At the time, I had 25, including 5 Statii, 4 Steinbergers, 2 Washburn Bantams, 2 Kramer Dukes and even a really cool Yamaha.
The Streamline is an absolute BEAST in a live sound setting. Who would ever guess that such a monster sound could be produced by such a small package. But hearing it won't do it complete justice. You have to play it yourself. Then you'll know.

Let me jump in!
I recently bought a Streamline with the following specs:

Streamline 4-string
Custom metallic silver lacquer
Custom front and side green LED's
Custom 16.5mm string spacing
Custom 32" scale fingerboard with BendWell
Custom chrome humbuckers
Chrome hardware

This bass is honestly, the most impressive bass I've ever seen. Unbelievably gorgeous, the looks of the silver paint with the hardware and pickups in chrome, is awesome. Apart from that, the back is fully carbon, so it satisfied my needs on carbon tops!
Plug it in, and it's diminutive size simply disappears, this thing is a monster. Play with the EQ, and you can find the sound you want. The one piece graphite gives this bass such a clear tone, it's impressive. I've been looking for this sound, I'm glad I found it! But I can also find a fat, vintage-like tone, something to please my old-blues band! Very impressive indeed, but nothing short of what expected from a Status bass!
This bass is also the lightest bass I've ever seen. It is an absolute joy to play. It feels like a guitar, in the sense that you want to toss it around you while playing... Something I really dig, as I like to play around on stage. It hangs incredibly well too, balance is right were I like it. As it is headless, it doesn't neck-dive, so however you hang it, it stays.
Now, playability. This is this bass most impressive feature. Of course, it is a result of the things I mentioned above, but with the 32" and the 16,5mm features, this is heaven to play. Fast, precise, right on! So smooth, the neck profile is awesome too. I was afraid I wasn't going to like the way it doesn't have a full body for me to rest my forearm as I always did, but this ended up being one of the best features for me. There is more freedom this away, one of the best surprises of this bass.
And the LEDs... Well, they are always really welcomed by everyone... It adds to the "cool factor".
This is my first headless bass too, and I really liked it. Not only because how it balances and feels, but also because of the looks... "Cool factor" again!

I'm now a proud owner of a Streamline, and if you are not, I strongly recommend you become one!

Here is a video from a gig this past sunday, in which you can see it in action (after 5:00, you can hear/listen to it a bit better). I'm in to modern tones, so my bass has a lot of treble on the eq.
