Anyone owned or still owns a Status Tbass?

I've had mine for about 4 months now and i have a small problem....

I love this bass, i've owned loads of basses from Stingrays to jazzes, to warwick streamers, 70's Precision, even a Levinson blade bass....but none of them come close to this bass, it sounds incredible, looks awesome, plays and feels like a dream... the only problem is, I play in a band on cruise ships, we play 4 hours a night, 7 nights a week for anything up to 6 months!!!!! thats a lot of standing up with a HEAVY bass strapped to a back thats is already buggered after trying to cart my eden D410XLT around!!!

So i'm in two minds whether to replace the tbass with (????? i dont know what would be light enough but sound amazing) or man-up and deal with a heavy bass!

Suggestions? if you think i should replace it, what with?

Paul.

I'm a Status convert too: mine's a graphite-necked Energy, which was towards the low end of their range in the 80s, but I can't now imagine using any other make as my main bass.

Have you looked at the Status Streamline? There are some pictures on the Status site which make my tongue hang out, and the Welcome to statii.com: For all things Status site has plenty of professional players who can tell you how it compares with your present bass. It is very light, looks sensational, comes 4 or 5 string, fretless if you want that, and comes in some subtle colour tints.
