just noodling around on ebay when I ran across loohttp://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110794386129ks like a pretty sweet deal for the price,but I've never played an aria before.are they terrible? |

My mistake, it's in hours left, not days.
Arias are known to be good basses, but I've never seen that particular model before. I'd probably skip on it - even at that price.

| It was probably started as a "no reserve" auction, but also had a "buy it now" price. One someone makes a bid, the BIN price option disappears.

All the same company anyway. I've got a few floating about 70's lawsuit J bass, couple cheapy magna series basses and the STB-EXO.
Aria basses are nice, an ex of mine had the P-J version of that bass. Was a nice instrument, bass wasn't too bad either!
That series are smaller bodied, light weight, duncan design pickups IIRC. Nice players, decent sounding.
They tend to carry bugger all value, but they are very nice basses, especially considering how cheap they are used!
I have an STB-EXO, somewhat different Aria, which I use as a stand in for my Stingrays.

Honestly, anything under $90-$100 is probably a pretty good deal, even with shipping on top of that. These don't have much resale, but bang for the buck they're nice basses. Kinda a wolf in sheeps clothing.
