That's just the current bid. Who knows how much it might end up going for five days from now. Plus it has a $50 shipping fee...

My mistake, it's in hours left, not days.

Arias are known to be good basses, but I've never seen that particular model before. I'd probably skip on it - even at that price.

Fixing your link : Aria IGB-35 Electric Bass Guitar Carved Body Coil Tap | eBay

The auction isn't over. It won't be ending with the bass selling for $20.

Maybe it's an Arlia? Or an Ariall? How do you even know what it looks like?
Oh well, your money.
Good luck.

I don't know about you, but I see pictures and a description! Regardless, I wouldn't do business with someone who has the username "make-a-offer".

This is the part I find silly:

Is "Aria" and "Aria Pro II" the same brand? Are they even affiliated with each other in any way? Not that I know what I'm actually talking about, but that seems like a different brand than Aria Pro II entirely.

I've seen some quality Aria Pro II basses from time to time, but never anything that looked like it was made recently.

It was probably started as a "no reserve" auction, but also had a "buy it now" price. One someone makes a bid, the BIN price option disappears.

Actually, they are branded as Aria.

The Aria USA Official Website!

All the same company anyway. I've got a few floating about 70's lawsuit J bass, couple cheapy magna series basses and the STB-EXO.

Aria basses are nice, an ex of mine had the P-J version of that bass. Was a nice instrument, bass wasn't too bad either!

That series are smaller bodied, light weight, duncan design pickups IIRC. Nice players, decent sounding.

They tend to carry bugger all value, but they are very nice basses, especially considering how cheap they are used!

I have an STB-EXO, somewhat different Aria, which I use as a stand in for my Stingrays.

You're right - this is one of the newer ones, after they dropped the "Pro II" tag and reverted to plain Aria.

The only pic I saw was of the body and part of the neck. No other pictures, as I am accustomed to seeing. Just the one.

"Carved Ash Body" is usually a euphemism for "heavier than plutonium!"

Other wise it is probably a nice bass for the money. It didn't sell at $129.99 or $99.99 so maybe this time is the charm.

$99.00 +$48.79 shipping 0 Bids End Dateec-13 20:05

The best way to not get a good deal on an eBay bass is to post it on Talkbass. Just sayin...

Honestly, anything under $90-$100 is probably a pretty good deal, even with shipping on top of that. These don't have much resale, but bang for the buck they're nice basses. Kinda a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Certainly not in this case. As said, they are slightly smaller bodies and very light basses.
