Hey SBMM, any independent dealers near Jacksonville, FL with the Ray5 in Walnut Satin?

Yes - but, it is the weekend now and I am at home. Any chance that you can hold on till Monday when I am at my desk and can give you accurate info?

Off the top of my head, not knowing the FLA landscape, I can tell you that Bass Central has a really good stock of our products.

800-545-8813 or sales@basscentral.com

Same as the four bangers with a B string.

Also will there ever be an HH 5 string?
I just got a Silo 30 that is impressive as well .I'm going to dress her up with a parchment guard and dimarzio pups I had laying around for a while

The Ray35CA is something we will definitely take a look at.

As far as any basses with an HH setup, it's unlikely. There are certain parameters that we stick to so as to not encroach too much into EBMM territory, and the HH setup is viewed as one of those things. Not saying we would never, but, for now, nothing really being considered for the future.

SUB Ray4 in action

Played a gig this past weekend! Soundman was impressed! He was like when I told him how much I paid for it! My tech did the mod for me. I still can't turn the bass up all the way but I do have better control of the volume. I still plan to install a new preamp but this one is fine for now.

Tried both Sub 4 and 5 at GC yesterday. The fit and finish were really good considering the price and I loved the neck on the 5. The sound resembles a USA EBMM, but IMO lacks punch, but that could be the old strings or the amp settings. I disliked the B string on the Ray 5, it was floppy even with the low action. If I had one, it would be the 4 string and I would replace the preamp by a 3-band EQ, but thats just my personal preference.

I also tried some SBMM ray 34s and I can say that the $400 difference is not justified, construction was not that better on the Ray 34 and you can get the Ray 4, add some top of line eletronics and still save some money!
I recommend the SUB without a doubt! they are some of the best bangs for the buck you can find!

So I brought my bass back into GC to get the correct mod but the tech said he I would have to buy a 25K pot online since they did not have it in stock at the store. Is this the right part?
