I was thinking of adding some stickers to it just to give it that uniqueness or little something. What is your opinions to this?
I tried searching for a thread on this for pictures and opinions but I can't find one. If there is any can someone point me to one, if not can I get a few opinons/pictures on here ?
Thanks |

I bought a used bass with stickers all over it, about 80% were easy to remove. The last few actually tore up the finish because of the type of glue they used. I wound up changing the body over to a satin finish to hide the damage. |

Be more concerned with your playing and less about how how bass looks. That bass looks just fine as is. Let your playing do the talking, so-to-speak. This is my opinion of course. No offense.

| | | | Yeah, stickers make a bass really unique. Just like every other bass that belongs to a 12 year old. |

Not a fan of stickers on basses. However, just like art it is subjective. So if you like it then do it. It is your bass. If I were going to put on several stickers I would do a layout first before applying them to the bass.

It's actually being setup right now but I'll post a photo when I get it back.

| | | | Go for it... if you don't like them or get tired of them, you can always peel them off. Vinyl stickers come off easier than paper ones, WD40 helps with the goo. |

I was in a punk band years ago and had a cheap Squier P bass that I sticker'ed up. It was pretty standard and accepted in that scene, however I honestly would probably never sticker up a higher value bass though. Also sure you can remove them, however as your bass ages in color the outsides of the stickers will show as your white color fades to the yellowish-white. |

Thankfully for you, it isn't my bass it is yours, if you want to sticker it go for it. The only time I would stop you was if the bass was something special or already a work of art, like a Ritter or Drozd.

There's nothing better than a smooth clean p bass. My 12 year old peavy on the other hand is covered with stickers.

If you don't like the sticker after awhile, you can always remove it.

Dumps your bass down into the class of a skateboard or a notebook or a DS. Even if it's reversible, the first impression you make won't be. But personal opinions aside, have you ever peeled a sticker off white paint and found a yellowed splotch the shape of the sticker underneath? I have. "I can take it off any time" doesn't mean you're going to take it off in time to save your paint. Do you know what chemicals are in the sticker adhesive and how they're going to react with the chemicals in your paint? I wouldn't do it unless I knew that. And still you could be deployed or go off to college or whatever and find someone fooled with it and instead of recasing it, laid it down in a sunny spot 'til you came home.
