Stingray 5 Question ; changed time - Nut, Pickup

When did Stingray come with Compensated Nut ?

I thought 2004 ? 2005 ?
Or gradually around some time ?


* Question #2
When was pickup cover shape changed for Stingray 5 ?

(this is Ceramic ?)

To..........
(2)

(Alnico ?)

alnico pole pieces are dull, the ceramic are shinney.

If I'm not wrong, MM started the Compensated Nut with the introduction of the Bongo? Don't know what year exactly that was...but as far as I know, that's when they started going with them.

Pickup covers, not sure at allllllllll. Good question though.

2005 for the compensated nut.

and

2009 for the alnico change. The covers were a gradual phase-in over the last year.
