Stingray 5HH... CERAMIC OR ALNICO??

I just bought a stingray 5 HH and I'm wondering which pickups are in them, ceramic or Alnico. I tried to look up what year the bass was made because I know that EBMM began making SR5's with Alnico pups in 2008, but the serial number didn't show up on a serial number web site I was looking at. I think it's probably made around 2006, which would mean they are ceramic, but Im not sure. The pickups aren't very shiny and they are greyish in colour. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

The serial will only show up once you submit the details and year of your bass. That site is not owned or run my EBMM.
You have to ask EBMM for the assembly date first.

Another quick way to get a round-about year, they usually put a small sticker in the control cavity.

i know but i was on a website that gave you the year your bass was made if you can find your serial number on the website.... my serial number wasnt on the page so i couldnt find out the year my bass was made (because i dont know what year it was made, hence why im looking up what year it was made)if i can find out if it was made before or after 2008, ill know if the pickups are ceramic or alnico

If you don't want to post the serial# HERE so that EBMM Customer Service can give you the production date, then you can compare your serial# to other SR5 serial#s HERE and get a general idea of when it was made.
