Lots of info here.
Home - Musicmanbass.org, Music Man, Musicman, Music Man Bass, Musicman Bass, Music Man Guitar

Looks legit, from what I can see of the photographs.

Made sometime between 1998 till current.

Perhaps someone else can pinpoint it down more from that metallic burst and the matching headstock.

My guess is between 1998 to 2003.

Ask for a photo of the neck plate and the serial number if you are serious.

That's a real StingRay with an aftermarket pickguard. Nothing unusual there...

Note the dirty neck! Typical because of the raw waxed Musicman necks nobody ever takes care of.

What looks 'interesting' about the bridge? It's the standard bridge they've been using since '96.

I was looking at oldschool bridges. I was also probably gonna switch the pickguard, maby clear or something... I know ive seen some cool ones before where its like clear with a lion,, or something. anyone know where i can get a clear one? I think it'd be cool to slap that same logo that's on the headstock on a pickguard, but just an idea.

Go to the EB Forum, Serial Number thread - provide the serial number and EB CS will provide the history.

SERIALS SR4 - Musicmanbass.org, Music Man, Musicman, Music Man Bass, Musicman Bass, Music Man Guitar

You will not find your specific number on this page unless you send an email of it to the guy. However, it is a gauge of the age of the bass. Seems pretty safe to assume its a 2001.

The thing about that website is because it's not a complete list of serials from the factory, it's not owned by EBMM. It's an enthusiast website and those serial numbers with descriptions are provided by people who already own the bass.
