Stingray HH owners, need some input :)

One thing I need from someone who owns a Stingray, and a reasonably accurate means of measurement. Prefer 5 string, but I don't think it matters a whole bunch. Needs to be HH though.
- Measure from nut to dead center of each pickup.

I might have more questions/favors to ask of you afterward too.

I measured from the 12th fret for someone in the first Stingray club thread... it's not from the nut but maybe it'll help? If not, I could measure the full length when I get home from work... Let me know.

2nd row - 10.34" (262.7mm)
3rd row - 13.03" (331mm)

Sorry, just re-read your post, you're looking for measurements to the center of each pickup, not the center of each set of poles. I'll measure when I get home if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Sorry about that!

No worries. It really needs to be from the nut .
I also need someone who's good with a camera to take a shot of the 5 way switch. The diagram I have for the pickup wiring doesn't quite make sense to me - especially the wires from the switch to the preamp.

Obviously these are estimates:

1st row - 9.43" (239.7mm)
2nd row - 10.34" (262.7mm)
3rd row - 13.03" (331mm)
4th row - 14" (355.6mm)

If these are the "pole piece" measurements, and you want the between measurements..just take each set of numbers, and find the middle of the two..

so the middle of the first halfway between 9.43 and 10.34 is approx 9.9".

the middle of the other (13.03 and 14) is approx 13.5"

I say "approx " because of the difference between the measurements of the two (.91" vs. .97) so my math was based on the average which is .94"

so..

9.9"
and
13.5"

I think..somebody with a stingray, please confirm..
Hope that helps.

.

OO..I have a question too.

Is the bridge pickup in the same location on a single Humbucker vs. the 2 humbucker?

Hmmm, it's probably not 100% accurate, but you could just add 17" to the measurements to get the nut distance.

That's from the 12th fret though. I need from the nut .
I'm 99% sure that the bridge position is the exact same on H and HH models.
