One thing I need from someone who owns a Stingray, and a reasonably accurate means of measurement. Prefer 5 string, but I don't think it matters a whole bunch. Needs to be HH though.
- Measure from nut to dead center of each pickup.
I might have more questions/favors to ask of you afterward too. |

Sorry about that!

I also need someone who's good with a camera to take a shot of the 5 way switch. The diagram I have for the pickup wiring doesn't quite make sense to me - especially the wires from the switch to the preamp. |

1st row - 9.43" (239.7mm)
2nd row - 10.34" (262.7mm)
3rd row - 13.03" (331mm)
4th row - 14" (355.6mm)
If these are the "pole piece" measurements, and you want the between measurements..just take each set of numbers, and find the middle of the two..
so the middle of the first halfway between 9.43 and 10.34 is approx 9.9".
the middle of the other (13.03 and 14) is approx 13.5"
I say "approx " because of the difference between the measurements of the two (.91" vs. .97) so my math was based on the average which is .94"
so.. 9.9"
and 13.5"
I think..somebody with a stingray, please confirm..
Hope that helps.
.
OO..I have a question too.
Is the bridge pickup in the same location on a single Humbucker vs. the 2 humbucker? |

I'm 99% sure that the bridge position is the exact same on H and HH models. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
