Stingray pickguard on SUB?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ive read a couple posts that say stingray pickguards MIGHT fit on MM SUB. Is this legit? Ive been looking at getting a new one for a while but gave up due to lack of success. Would ordering a Stingray pickguard solve this ugly situation?

The SUB looks better once you change the scratchplate,I'm still toying with the idea of having the pickup wired the same as a Stingray.

What is the difference in wiring between Sub and SR?
Also, are the pre-amps the same?
