I actually like the body of the SR5 more than the SR4. the horns are carved and the pickguard seems to fit the body better. If MM made a SR with the body shaped like a 5er, no pup selector and 2 band eq, that would definitely be on my top 4 dream basses.
Would anyone else be interested in this?
by now my only chance at this is to get a SR4, give it to some skilled luthier to work on it an then get a pickguard for it. hmm, that seems kinda doable...
