Stock Strings on Lakland Basses?

Hey everyone,

Just curious, what kind of strings come stock on Lakland basses?

I just got a new 44-60 custom and a 44-64, and they definitely both came with different strings on them.

I bought the 44-60 new in a store, so I don't know how long it was there before I bought it. It may have been restrung for all I know. The strings on it either had red or silver silks(I can't remember), and brass colored ends. Something notable; the E on these strings completely died after a few days, must have had a problem with the core or wrapping.

I got the 44-64 straight from Lakland. It came with what looks like D'Addarios, strictly judging by the multi-colored ends of the strings.

What came on YOUR Lakland?

Lakland has their own string line (made by GHS I believe) so I can't see them putting D'Adarrio's on there at the factory.

That's what I assumed. But the string ends are all different colors, and I don't know any other brand to use that. I definitely got it straight from Lakland, the music store ordered it for me and I picked it up about an hour after they got it in the store. Strange..
