Stolen Bass Recovered

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got my stolen '98 Kevin Brubaker 6 String bass returned to me after it was stolen almost 5 years ago! Talk about karma - and on a full moon!

Some kid bought it last weekend at a flea market. His dad said it looks pretty special and that he should research it. He found my web page right away on Google and called me.

Congrats on getting your gear back and on finding an honest person! I have had two instruments stolen from me which were recovered much later. A wonderful feeling it is to have your axe in your hands!

What did the kid pay for it?

Pretty incredible story!!

Did you reward the kid at all? I'm guessing he was out of whatever money he paid for it...and that doesn't look like an inexpensive instrument...

Lets hope the "karma" also repays the kid (and his father!).

That is really cool to hear!!! A lot of young kids probably would not have returned it. Gives me hope for the younger generation!!

This says a lot about the character of that kid and his family! Congrats - it's great to hear a story that ends well.
