I haven't had many basses with pearloid, but I love this combo and I think it looks so much better to have the aged pearl versus the blinding white pearl.

I completely forgot about this bass;I did have a C.A.R. MTD 5-string I picked up at a guitar show in Marin Ca, stolen about 10 years ago from the back of my Suburban.
