If you have any really conspicuous solid color, design practice dictates neutral trim, and I'd bet virtually all designers would say white (not parchment, if possible) pickguard here.
I don't know that MOTO is ever the answer to anything, but white MOTO would work better than tortoiseshell here, certainly.

Red bass, blackguard. When you talk about pastel colors then its mint, or white. Sunburst is the only bass I see work well with tort, but I would still do black or gold aluminum. Just never been a fan of tort. |
