| | | | Anyone know how I can get the P style pickups from the 1000/2000 series? I'd like to put that style of pickup on my 424X and upgrade it slightly |

You could ask here if anyone has what you're looking for.

The problem is: Yamaha's parts are (or at least were when I contacted them a few years ago) extremely expensive. For many parts you can find a brand that makes the exact same part though... The TRB tuners are simple Gotoh tuners with a Yamaha brand on them, so I got those.

Anyways, best luck to you! | Rod: I have a TRB II 5, could I ask you a couple of questions? Namely, mine is in mint condition but I don't know what it's worth. I'm interested in a Nathan East model and I'd like to sell mine and justify buying the East model. Do you have a ballpark figure what I could rightly ask?
Thank you, Rod,

| | | | Hey, man. Beautiful job on the refinish. But as nice as that is, its an even better story about your dad and what he means to you. I lost my dad a year ago and it still feels like yesterday. Much love to your pops!

I guess a retraction is in order - thomphoto, sorry about the mistake, come back when you have a BB model.
We are back to 67 members.

| | Registered User | | | | I would be happy to take the vacated No. 68
I picked up this BB414 this week as part of a package of basses I bought from a young man who was heading off to university. I really bought the 4 basses just to fix up and resell, as I normally play exclusively short scales. Not something I usually do, but the kid was literally giving them away. Of course I had to first play them all.
Once I played the BB I just fell in love with it. I actually took it to rehearsal on Thursday and it killed. I loved it, my bandmates thought it was the coolest bass they'd ever seen, and the tone just rocked.
This is the easiest 34" scale bass I have ever played. Honest to God I had to get a tape measure out the first time I played it to confirm it was 34". I was convinced it must a 32"!
Anyway, I now see why people love their BBs. This bass ain't going anywhere!
