I just brought this home brand new 2013 Gibson NR Thunderbird in Pelahm Blue. Possibly the first shipped. I'll have a full report later.

That looks tasty. I was iffy on that finish in the promo pics, but it looks nice in those pics. It would look even nicer with some chrome hardware/pickup covers and one of your Badbird bridges. Is the fingerboard rosewood or the baked maple? I was a little confused about which they were actual using, based on the different press releases.

Cool! That means I can buy a case for my homebuild I made years ago because Gibson didn't wanna make me one.

Enjoy that gorgeous bass!

Knowing how you pushed your local Gibson Rep so hard to get it done, you have to be pretty happy to see it finally come to pass Scott. Congratulations, it's beautiful!

Thanks Mark! It is nice to see it in person. One thing I really like is the neck angle at the body and the bridge is nice and low, not sticking way up like on some of Gibson's more recent offerings.

That`s pretty sweet. Seeing as how you live in Rochester and I`m only in Buffalo, how`s about you let me swing over and gently play it...then spend the night...then move in...then start to dress like you......

Naw,I`m just kidding.
