I just brought this home brand new 2013 Gibson NR Thunderbird in Pelahm Blue. Possibly the first shipped. I'll have a full report later.

It would look even nicer with some chrome hardware/pickup covers and one of your Badbird bridges. Is the fingerboard rosewood or the baked maple? I was a little confused about which they were actual using, based on the different press releases.

One thing I really like is the neck angle at the body and the bridge is nice and low, not sticking way up like on some of Gibson's more recent offerings. Quote:
