It looks gorgeous.

I played a few older PRS basses in the past and I was less than impressed to say the least. Hopefully they play and sound better than they did in the 90's.

+1 makes it look cheesy but an overall beautiful instrument.

That color is jaw dropping :) I really dig that. Not 100% sold on the instrument but the color is mighty mighty.

Our guitarist collects PRS guitars and has more than any one human being should be allowed to own.
At rehearsal he pulled out a discontinued PRS bass similar to the one below and began to tell me it's high cost, rarity and how great it was. I played it and, meh, sort of bland. They seemed to just take their guitar spec's and made it bigger with 4 strings and called it a bass.
Don't get me wrong, I would have gladly taken the bass for a reasonable price. I hate to say it but, the early 80's Fender P-bass, Squier series he has collecting dust in the studio played better at 1/10th the cost. I hope PRS has created a better design. At that cost, anyway.

Cant say the basses ever turned my crank but my PRS DG is unbelievable...great workmanship...I'll stick to my FBass's
