Thinking about selling my LTD ESP B206SM
Hi everyone, I think going for a six string was a mistake. I'm wondering what kind of success people have had selling in the classified section on a local only basis. Shipping (and packing) costs would make this a not so good deal for either party. I would pay the $20 to become a supporting member if the results are good. I'm considering just trading it in to GC or Sam Ash towards another acoustic guitar but I know I will take a bath. I had some dealings with Craigslist liquidating my father's estate. Not a great experience. Seems like this forum is VERY active but I don't have a feel for how may prospective buyers might be viewing in the LA area. The bass is in perfect condition. Zero wear. I probably haven't played it more than a couple hours in total. Comments welcomed.
Craigslist it is I guess.
It's only been 24 mins between your posts and it's a holiday, man. A lot of people that are on here are either taking it easy or playing a gig somewhere today.
While I haven't had any experience with selling on here, it's pretty active and most members are pretty supportive of people and their listings. Don't be afraid to post here and on CL though either. That happens a lot to.
Anyways, good luck with the sale.
Thanks. Actually 12 hours between posts.
As you said, Terry
Could be (it really is, I think) "a bath" to trade a 6er in a shop,
but here on the forum many are 6er players, especially in a so crowded area like L.A.'s
Take your time
Good luck bud!
Sold it on CL this morning. Got twice as much as I would have on trade and the guy still got a steal. We're both happy. I still have my peavey millennium which is a great bass I think.
