Ricks are thinner than Fenders ... but Parker Fly basses may be the thinnest.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

My Gibson SG bass is the thinnest body I have seen.

The Luna Andromeda is pretty thin, and very light. Ibby SR (the newer ones) have a asymmetrical airfoil shape/contour.

Ibanez "Saber" are ridiculously thin on the forearm/belly region and only get thicker going towards the controls.

I'm fascinated with the idea of a neck through bass that remains only as thick as the neck, but that would require custom pickups and electronics. But it would be so sexy...

Thinnest I've ever played was an SG bass. I've never played a Ric or Parker fly, though.

My Aerodyne definitely feels lighter and thinner than my Geddy or my Jazz basses but could just be the cut.

For a slab body I think the Ric 4004 Laredo might be the thinnest. This isn't mine - I grabbed the pic off eBay. I've owned a 4004 but got rid of it years ago. This one is really nice but at over 2K it's staying where it is.
