My Christmas present was a lovely Nikki Sixx T-bird.
I love the flamed maple wings and the ebony board. Slightly heavier than my regular Gibson t-bird, but balances really well. A slightly tighter, punchier tone too. Real nice bass ( the oil finished neck is a pleasure to play ).

Mine used to look like that too, I agree on the tone vs. the standard 'Bird plus, it's a little darker.
Merry Christmas to you! |

As for my goth, since i havent spoken about it in a while. It's getting fixed and rewired this friday. Can't wait to play it once again.

Darren | Love the Sixx-bird! Definitely on my wish list! For you or Mark, how does the satin finish compare to the other "worn/faded" finishes like Gibson has on the SG bass? Also- are the graphics hot stamped on the pickguard, or are they etched through the chrome on the backside, letting the finish show through?

My rock project played Saturday night, and one of our "fans" made this artwork for me and gave it to me for Christmas. She spelled my name wrong, bit she did a great job on the bass even though I don't have one. Bless her heart!

Hot stamped on mine, had to dig it out of the closet ( the one not filled with model trains) and have a look at again!
I got mine in late 2009 the finish is showing wear, the back of the neck ( where the monmey frets are) is shiney brown not red. The top rear of the upper bout has wore thru to show a bit of the maple top and inbetween the pickups I've wore away a big patch, right down to bare wood - Honest wear, and I bought it to play, not to keep as a trophy
Very cool that your fans would paint a 'Bird for you Clint!
This is an old shot...... |

Sure, why not
What benefits come with membership ?
I'll try to get some pics, but I don't have a Subi to go with it.
Is my VW Westy Syncro ok ?

The first time I have received a bass and didn't have to get the tools out. First time ordering from them and I'm sold!! The bass is more than I hoped for, feels great, neck is great, balance is perfect, (no neck dive at all) and actually for me, the body is very comfortable to me. I'm happier than a pig in mud!!

Of course!
The VW is great
Can't say their are lots of tangible benifits from membership, just the knowledge that you're hangin' out with us cool (Thunderbird playin') kids

Thanks
