Intonation without modification has been my mantra for years. In 2005 I released the Badbird Bridge and it was very well received by touring pros and collectors alike. In 2012 I released the new and improved Badbird complete with anchors , studs and vintage style tailpiece. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Badbi...0043127?ref=hl Quote:

I find the Thunderbucker provides a far more accurate representation of a vintage Thunderbird pickup. Imho the SDs don't have the inherent overdrive of a good 60's Thunderbird pickup. The Thunderbuckers do in spades. The SDs are just to clean, they have the mids and treble but not the grind. Quote:

Doodling about at home I got some good sounds out of it (and it handles drop B tuning really well), but I took it to rehearsal yesterday and it just sits perfectly, I can't believe I didn't try one sooner.
I know no pics = no bass, so I'll get one posted today.
