Be sure to indicate the color when youre buying so you dont end up with yellow like I did! |

Thnx for the info, I saw your pictures and I immediately thought to wrap my pick guard as well, though I'm not sure on what kind of vinyl to wrap it with yet haha. A decal instead of the normal Tbird logo looks really awesome!
How did you came up with the idea to wrap your whole bass?? And doesn't the vinyl make your neck play much less smooth?

And doesn't the vinyl make your neck play much less smooth? | Im a big fan of cars and a cheap, reversible way to change the look of your car is to wrap it in vinyl. I recommend 3M vinyl if youre wrapping the pickguard because its thicker so its more durable and easier to apply. I always use textured vinyl on the neck so its not as sticky, but the gloss vinyl is just as sticky if not faster than the back of the bare neck |

This one has Max Thunderbuckers on it, raised center, fore arm and waist contour. And the ever important sanded back of the neck so my sweaty left hand does not stick.

I'll post a build thread. But since my builds are generally measured in eons, I'll wait until I have a bit more progress to share...
I'm actually planning to build fraternal twins. | I decided to use Schaller bridges, which means no neck angle, but I'll carve a generous relief on the back to compensate. Build thread started. I'm excited! |

| | | | My 'Bird is now fretless. I'm learning how to make it sound like I want. Fretless with flats is really different than frets with rounds, but I'm amazed at how much change it made in the way the bass feels. I liked it before, but now it's far better.
