Finally redid the wiring in my '79 Thunderbird. I had the neck pickup rewound by Seymour Duncan a few months ago and I dropped it back in today.

I think the wiring came out nice:

ordered my first used spectorbird today, the legend 4x classic korean bolt-on, the black one. get me some fire and call me trevor sixx!

Just now getting to a song where I play on the first fret on most of the strings and noticed a bit of buzzing. So I took a look at it and the neck was straight with no relief. I removed the strings and turned the truss rod nut about 1/4 of a turn and that fixed it. Afterwards I lowered the bridge some and noticed that the middle screw is all the way down. I still have room to lower the back two. The space between the top of the fret and the strings on both sides is less than 3/32. I could go lower but not sure I really should or need to. Also maybe I messed up a little. Shouldn't the backs be lower than the front? It plays very well. I have no issues with the playability at all.

That looks good, not a lot of shielded-wire slack to move around and short things out.
