Tribute JB2 coming tomorrow and...

I took advantage of a great deal at MF on a Tribute JB2. Does anyone know when or why these dropped in price from $599 to $449? Are they made somewhere else (China?) than Indonesia? If so, how are these newer models. The old ones used to have a gig bag included, but I am not expecting one for the $382 (15% discount) I got it for. Just wondering why the apparent recent price drop.

They're the same just no gig bag.

They have been $449 for about 6 months also.

Well, that's a relief; I have a very nice Gator hard-shell case waiting for it and didn't want the bag, as I never use them anyway.
