Dear Sirs and Madams: I humbly submit my entry 
It`s a work in progress, nearing completion. It started out as a beater Affinity CL find for $40. After filling some major gouges, tons of sanding, paint, new PG, and installed a set of MIM pups. For the neck: sanded, refinished a slightly tinted thin coat satin poly, polished frets, and a headstock veneer - voila !
