I started doing 300+ numbers while I was still in the 200 block. Ooops. Fixed.

I did the best I could to get everybody a deserving number. If I missed you, or I didn't give you a number when you think you should have one, let me know.
Since it was such a long time since the last update, I included everybody. From now on, Tricked Out Squiers need to meet some qualifications. Swapping out a pickguard isn't going to make the cut.

No number necessary. My 95 Fender "Squier Series". Replaced the one piece pickguard/control plate and strat-style knobs with a 3-ply b/w/b guard, metal control plate ad black P knobs. Also replaced the bent tin bridge with a black high-mass eBay bridge. She's my #1.

This has become my go-to bass at home, and I bring it to band practice often as well. VM Squier body, G & L ASAT Bass neck, custom pickguard, SD Hot Jazz pickups.



My only fretless is a Squier as well. Didn't find any better pic for some reason - it shows my home practice amp & cab. CV Squier body, bridge, and pickguard, ESP 400 Series neck, EMG Select pickups, CertainBass Varitone circuit.

Changed the neck with my other VM and de fretted it, rewired to volume-balance-tone, made a new pickguard and put on a Hipshot bridge.


With the neck of my other VM, put in Hanson Chi-Sonic pickups, rewired to volume-balance-tone, made a new pickguard and put on a Hipshot bridge.

Ok Ok, so I said I didn't plan to gig my squiers and I did... I said I wasn't going to touch the wiring and I did... Then I added a hipshot detuner but maintained that I had no plans to change the pickups... I just dropped in an SD quarter pounder... I just need to stop talking about what I'm not going to do because I end up being a liar!
I've got a couple new TOSs in the works too...

It's a very good instrument for the price, of course.
And with Nordstrand the tone was excellent. I'm very happy with the result.
