A Squier CVP & a Bill Lawrence or some aftermarket pup. Or a 50s P with an SD Antiquity II. Seriously, I have no business playing an expensive instrument. |

The bridges are Hipshot Vintage Bass Bridges.
They make changing strings a lot easier.

Can anyone suggest what tuners fit well with this bass? I have never really modded anything, but this is a great place to start!

they are 1/2 inch standard fender tuners (mim, hwy 1). you could go with hipshot ultralites, thats what im getting. |

1/2" standard fender tuners.. cool. The Hwy 1 was never a 5-string model with a 4+1 headstock, or was it? I can't remember Fender doing that. I'd have to get 4+1 tuner set for this right? 5 inline would or would not work?
