typo correction: THUNDERCHIEF CB10 question
Sorry but I just realized I mis-typed the title of my question so here goes again with the correct title and with a bit more info:
I am looking at a used Tacoma Thunderchief CB10 (2003) and have a question about the Spruce top. Should the spruce top be completely flat all over or is it normal that extending back behind the bridge there is a very slight arching that slopes back down to flat near the end of the bass? In front of the bridge it is completely flat. This slightly raised area looks and feels symmetrical, the area is about the same width as the bridge. There are no dings or cracks in the area. The instrument looks like it was taken care of but I want to understand if this is a problem or not. I've tried to take pictures but the raise isn't visible in a picture - it is more obvious by feel. If this is not a problem, great; but if a problem is it one that can be addressed or a deal breaker?
If possible, I'd appreciate input from other Thunderchief owners to let me know if they have any arching on the tops or if their tops are completely flat. Thanks!
