mech | It's smaller than that. I found my metric allen set, which has 1.5mm and 1.27mm keys, and even the 1.27mm is too big. Maybe I'll file the 1.27mm down a bit.
edit: it occurs to me that the interior of the socket might have a patina of corrosion on it, which shrinks its size.
edit2: that was it. I put a drop of WD40 on the tip of the 1.27mm allen key, and with a little wiggling, it went in snug.

Minor wear showing on body. Hardshell Peavey case (rectangular shape.) | A friend of mine picked this up for his son and now I am helping them find an amp. Another 14-year-old launched into the low end.
He's the kind to treat his gear with care and respect and I made sure he knows the quality of the instrument. He is a very happy camper.

Usually I bring home a US Peavey for myself and he grabs hold of it and I have to wrestle it back...I have a feeling the tides will turn on this one.

| | | I present my humble offering. It's easily THE best sounding rock/roll gnarly tone machine I've ever found, for what I'm looking for, period. Question...what is the closest approximation to the 5-string foundation that retains the four's string spacing? Anything peavey, or...? Inquiring peavey newb aches to know... |

Enlarged the original active/passive switch hole to use for the High control.
I have a set of black hardware that I'll swap out with the gold every few years just so I can feel like I have a new bass.
