I found an old Peavey catalog the other day and it had some some info on them. I forgot they even made them and I can't seem to find much info on them. I'd love to try one out sometime!

The catalog I have was from the early 2000's back when Peavey still made Millenniums in the U.S. I'll see if I can get a scan of it if anyone would like to see them.
Anyone play one or have more info...please share!

Here's a scan:

The small toggle switch (on the front of the bass) is an A/B switch for selecting either active, or passive.
So, if the battery dies during a gig while using active mode, flip the toggle and keep playing. The battery is housed under the single panel in back, and it lasts so long-that access should never be considered an issue! Click to enlarge photo.

I also have an'87 in a dark metallic silver. Great basses.

I love the pickups on them, they cut through a band really well.
This picture doesn't really show the color. It's from the GC in Corpus Christi, I purchased it online from them. I'm going to have to take a better picture sometime.

There's actually several nice Peaveys on GC Used. At least 4 US Furys, some Dynas (Unity and not). 2 TL-Fives. 1 TL-Six. 2 US Millenniums. A Foundation S. Looks like market prices on Peaveys is trending up, too. Yaay! :-)

I'm just waiting for them to trend back down, especially those Mills.

But, with an $800 price tag, the tug is pretty well counterbalanced by the Cirrus 6 I have at home. Heck, I didn't pay that much for the Cirrus!

Not sure, but it seems like they think they have something they don't. I'm sure it's a great bass, but not at that price.

Sometimes its hard to see, but the big difference is the the bottom of the neck on the US (the part that goes into the body) is angled and the bxp is straight.
