My motto is to own no bass that first needs an exorcism. | What is this? Aren't there any REAL men left in TB? I've seen enough horror movies to know that when you see two signs with one saying "certain death" pointing right and another saying "safety" pointing left, you ALWAYS turn to the right!
Personally I love it and would buy it in a second were it not that it is missing a string or two. Then, the next time a blues Nazi gives me a hard time over playing blues on a 6 string, I'd whip that one out and lay it on them.
However, dare I say that the $800 "buy it now" price is a bit of...er... "wishful" thinking! |

Most Wishbasses get some work done to them after purchase, and this one would be especially fun to fiddle with. I think the pricetag is a bit ambitious, but he can ask what he wants. Doesn't mean it'll sell. |

| | | | I'm at a loss. Is this bass supposed to be satire, or somehow creative? Both?
Seriously, after mothman, I really can't tell the difference anymore.

GT | Wish has built quite a few of these over the years. He likes to use recycled or in this case, random weird wood. Nothing wrong with that. We have enough Fender clones. |

Turning one like this into a bass is extremely creative, whether or not it's for you is unimportant. |

I'd understand if they were really cheap and you were expected to put some work into them, but for 800 bucks you'd expect the pick-up route at least to be a lot cleaner. And by clean I mean a proper routing job. That is nuts.

Looks like he did it with a cordless drill and "eyeballed" it!
